I just came back from a family vacation in Bend, Oregon. It was my first time there and I kept thinking “how could I have never been here before?” over and over just a few hours after we arrived. It is just such a relaxing, peaceful, and vivid city filled with amazing view, energy, and meditating or fun activities. When I travel, one thing I think about is to pack items that can be styled variously to create multiple outfits so I don’t have to pack a lot of clothes…Read More
First, I’d like to share the wonderful news that my sister just got married last Sunday!!! It has been a long journey for her to finally find happiness again. I am beyond happy for her and my niece Chloe. I will certainly share some of the photos from the wedding later after I receive them from our wedding photographer. As you could image, I had a big role in the wedding. I was the emcee and one of the bridesmaids. In short, my sister looked…Read More
Each summer season I like to add one or two new swimsuits into my collection. This summer, my search for a perfect swimsuit took a LONG time! I know there are probably thousands of options out there, but for some reason this year I had a really hard time to find that one piece until I laid my eye on this set. The brand of this check print bikini set is by GANNI. The first thing caught my eye about this set is the check print. The way how the print is…Read More

One of my key principles of fashion is to learn how to recycle the things you own. It is common that we all get tired of things after we own them for a period of time. Also, many of us probably would also like to stay IN, though this isn’t my top concern (Yes! I care more for the right style than keeping up with what’s in.). I do know however that it is important for many other fashion bloggers/fashionistas…Read More

The holiday season is one of my favorite times of the year because it helps feed my shopaholic soul, show the people I love my appreciation, and is the season of giving back! The light and fluffy fabric works well on a hot summer day. It comes with a removable strap over the shoulder. With or without the strap actually gives this top a quite different feel, which is exactly why I consider it a very versatile piece. The top has this kind of puffy effect, and because of that you don’t even need to wear a bra!
Hello everybody! I am back from my quick trip to London for the 2018 London Fashion Week. I finally caught up on my sleep and am excited to share pictures and stories of my experience. Stay tuned for upcoming posts! In the meantime, I have a late winter Portland snow event series for today.
First post of 2018! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday. Mine was pretty good. We took 10 days to travel around California for some sunshine, as you can imagine what an Oregonian needs in winter time. The trip would be even better if the whole family wasn’t sick or getting over a sickness, but we had a great time nonetheless. We checked out Palm Springs, then took the kids to Disneyland and the San Diego Sea World & Zoo for the very first time. Our favorite activities were watching sea lion shows and checking out the zoo.Read More
