Vintage Bling Bling
In general I am not the kind of girl who likes to wear bling blings. However, every once a while, I like to push my comfort zone and try something new. The key to wearing sequin pieces for a spring day is to pair them with understated classic pieces like a perfectly-cut shorts. Basically, make it the focal point of your look and keep everything else simple and classy.
This jacket is a vintage piece re-designed by Shopbrettadam. I accidentally ran into this sustainable brand in one of the local night markets. They surely did a great job transforming this vintage piece into something that is not only bold but also fun and sleek. I had so much fun styling it.
To spice up the look, I paired a collar neck by MAXMARA WEEKEND and a long beads necklace by White House Black Market to fill the front chest gap space. Accessories have amazing effects on outfits when used right.
I literally felt like a star the whole day wearing this outfit. What I learned overtime is that though you may not be a star in real life, you certainly can wear clothes that make you feel like one, and that is all you need to do to improve your mood, change your attitude, and live a more confident and happy life.
