Bringing Sportmax To The Top Of Milan Duomo

Attending Fashion Week is always a rush for me. I usually don’t have extra days to do any tourist activity or have a big trunk of time to really shop. But, this time I purposely planned two extra days just to relax and one more day dedicated to shop in the world’s fashion capital!

This duchesse dress with a voluminous effect on the sides and on the bodice makes it super interesting and versatile. The material is quite shapable but yet still super comfy and soft. It is sexy but still mysterious, it is classy but with exciting interestind details. This is one of those “love at first sight” purchase once again!

With the “extraness” of the dress, we felt that we needed something on my head to balance the volumn. We were so happy to have found this hair clip, which we thought it was exactly what we were looking for.

I ended up pairing the dress with one of my other acquired items - the Fendi Colibri Lite Metallic Slingback Pump. The metallic effect of the silk goes quite well with the dress’s material, and the gold chain of my brand new Bvlgari mini bag (purchased at JFK airport with 40% off, indeed a steal!)

I have to say the staff at Duomo was quite relaxed and friendly with us shooting there. Many tourist places don’t allow any professional photography or you have to pay a ridiculous amount of fees to shoot there. We didn’t see any signs of not allowing photography so we took our chances. We ended up shooting on the rooftop for a good two hours!! Of course, we were being very mindful, never blocked any traffic, we always let others pass and wait patiently for a window when we could snap a few photos…..A couple of times, we felt like the security guard was going to come to talk to us, but they didn’t. 😁 Only until we were practically done and reached the final spot of the rooftop tour taking our last few shots. A lady came and talked to us. She asked whether we were shooting for commercial ads and we told her no we were just shooting for my personal blog. She was completely fine with it!

I want to share this experience with you all, in case any of you who are reading this post would want to shoot on the rooftop of Milan Duomo, now you know it is allowed and you all just need to be mindful of the crowds.

Leave a comment if you have any question about this outfit or shooting on the rooftop of Milan Duomo!
