2022 MFW | Emerging Talents

After two years of not attending Fashion Week, I was thrilled to be invited to Milan Fashion Week again! It felt so great to be back at the beautiful Palazzo Visconti di Modrone again for the Emerging Talents show for the 2022 Fall & Winter collection.

Other than supporting emerging designs, my favorite part of this show is the wide range of designers and their designs. There is something for anyone and I always leave wanting more! Below are some of my favorite looks.

The above three pieces are from Vitor Zerbinato, a Brazilian designer. I loved the elegance and simplicity mixed and matched with different details for that wow effect.

Sima Collezione showcased a collection of evening-wear dresses.. I love the silhouette as well as the color combo on all these dresses. The dresses were very original and had a strong vision.

DOBRZANSKA is known for her imaginative blending of modern and heritage styles & fabrics. This collection is a nod to her grandmother, a strong matriarch, and her love for the fine arts, which I personally felt well represented in her works. I particularly love the first two dress looks.

Maya Seyferth is a German designer. My favorite piece of the collection is the above copper color dress. This dress gives off a copper sculpture feel but still flow and moves well. The asymmetric design makes it extra interesting.

It was such a joy to be back in the fashion capitol of the world, not only to enjoy high end fashion, but to also support and uplift the emerging designers of the world. The magic happens when we all support each other and all of these designers have a message to give and a gift to share with the world. I was so happy to be there and can’t wait for next year!
