Valentine's Day Look Preview

Valentine’s Day is only THREE days away- where does the time go? I thought I should give you a preview of my Valentine’s day look with the hope it might offer some inspiration for your Valentine’s day look.

This year, I felt like being bold so I opted for a layered look with two designer dresses - A La Perla body shape allure dress layered with a Versace shirt dress. Each of the dresses is a statement piece in itself, but they also go together so perfectly!

I acquired both dresses in Milan during my last Milan Fashion Week trip in September 2019. I felt that would channel some romantic energy for my Valentine’s date with my hubby. lol!

As you can see in the above photo, this La Perla shape allure dress is stunning by itself! It hugs your body perfectly, accentuating the waist at a perfect height, showcasing your womanly body like no other dress would. The lace details adds the perfect amount of sexiness and softness to the dress.

The Versace Barocco Femme Print Shirt Dress is from their last Fall collection. When I saw it at the Versace store in Milan, I refused to try it on at first because I felt like it is a bit too much for my taste. After the shop assistant insisted on me trying it on, I eventually gave it a try. And you all know what had happened after that…lol! The dress is made of 100% viscose, which makes the dress feel so smooth and buttery. The shop assistant also suggested to add on this wide Versace leather belt, which I absolutely loved how it looked with the dress. Versace was absolutely the winner of my shopping day that day!
