A Bangin' New Look
This morning I woke feeling tired of the same hair style and so I decided to try something that I have never done before - get some bangin’ bangs! I didn’t have the courage to cut my own hair and didn’t make an appointment so I looked online to see what temporary bang solutions are out there, and found a video showing me how I could create bangs from my ponytail. I loved the idea and once I was done with the hair style, I couldn’t believe how realistic and good it looked. I never thought that I would be able to pull off bangs.
After finishing my makeup, I couldn’t recognize myself! With my dark winged eye shadow and the bangs, I felt like a European actress of some sorts and was so excited to play the role for the day. Quickly I jumped into my closet to see what outfit would best fit this new look and I knew exactly what I wanted. A monotone look with a turtle neck to fit the winter vibes.
I was so excited to finally feature my new favorite MaxMara rialto hooded coat. The moment I purchased this piece, I knew I made the right decision. The fit is so comfortable, the camel color is so versatile that makes it so easy to throw over any outfit and make you instantly look chic and put-together. I couldn’t pair it with anything else other than my SportMax Zip Kick Nappa Midi leather skirt which I bought while attending Milan Fashion Week. To finalize the look, I grabbed my brand new Dior clutch to add a touch of texture and my thigh-high black heels.
By the end of the day, I was a different person completely. I walked with the bangs like I have had them my whole life! Even though at first it was hard to get used to having hair so close to my eyes, it felt so natural to have them as the day passed. As you can see in the photos, I really was feeling myself.

Now that I finally let my hair down and the bangs went away, I felt a bit sad. I was left wondering if I should actually get my hair cut with bangs, but than I thought, won’t I get bored of them, just like I got bored of my current hair style? It seems like the grass will always be greener on the other side, so I decided that I can just use this temporary bangs method every time I need a change. The takeaway from today is, always follow your gut! You never know what new possibilities and exciting adventured it may lead you to.
