The Best Copper Gown
I don't own a lot of big gowns because, for one, I don't have a lot of occasions where I can wear a gown, and two, you can't wear the same gown too often because it becomes very noticeable. Hence, you can't really justify investing in a fancy big gown that won't get used often.
However, the day I saw this MARIA LUCIA HOHAN sylvia gown was the day I broke my own rule, lol (you all know how that goes, right?!). I love this gown so much for so many reasons. I love the copper color silk fabric that makes you look like a copper statue goddess. I love the deep V collar that tastefully shows off your sexiness. I love the fitted high waistline, which is so important so that a not-so-tall person like me can visually look tall. Last but not least, how the gown flows is what ultimately gets me! When the dress flows as wind blows, you immediately feel like a princess or a goddess. That alone helps me justify the price for this gown. : )
This gown has such a big presence that I decided the fewer accessories, the better. I simply paired with my Cartier diamond earrings and matching necklace. I think it added the right amount of elegance, but did not distract from the beauty of this gown.
A lot of the time, people focus on how a piece of clothing makes them look, but neglect how it makes them feel. To me, it is very important that not only clothes need to look great on me, but they also bring me the right energy and outlook. Because, at the end of the day, the energy you carry is what ultimately affects what you do and the people around you. That, by the way, is also why I keep saying that caring for your physical appearance is not just about the look. It is also about the vibe you give off, your energy, and your attitude towards life.
