The Stunning Custom-Made Designer Dress
It has been a hell of a week. The entire west coast is burning. In Portland, We are still having historical bad air quality. What is even worse is half a million people in Oregon evacuated from their homes, and many desperate families have lost everything due to the wildfires. It is just beyond sadness.
I have been anxiously following the news. As of today, finally, all the wildfires in Oregon have certain levels of contaminants. I feel so grateful for these firefighters risking their lives working on the frontline to protect our community. We owe these people who serve the country more applause. They’re also the individuals who have stories to share. Therefore, in this post, I’m turning the spotlight to Melesia Robinson, a navy veteran turned fashion designer.
Melesia reached out to me two months ago asking whether I would be interested in featuring one of her designer piece on my blog. I was fascinated by her drastic career change from a navy officer to an aspiring self-taught luxury fashion designer. She designs custom made gowns and dresses to fulfill each client’s needs. Her goal is to have each client looking and feeling elegant. The garments are designed to have each client exuding pure confidence while looking sexy and refined. Melissa is committed to providing clients with an experience of a lifetime.
I fell in love with this gown the moment I received it and tried it on. I especially love its structural design elements in the front, which immediately draws attention and makes a bold statement. Its stretchy sparkly material perfectly showcases your body curve, and the length of the gown makes me look tall, which I like.
Fitting is a factor that has been long neglected by clothes makers. Even though nowadays most of the clothes come with different sizes to choose, nothing can compare with a custom made dress that is specially tailored for you. In addition to the perfect fit, you can also incorporate your own creative ideas into the design process. For the next important occasion, you shall try to design a custom-made dress with Melesia’s professional help.
Just like how I always like to support emerging designers during any Fashion weeks I go by going to their runway show or presentation, I also want to show my respect and support to fashion designers as Melesia Robinson, who made a big turn in her career just as I did. Changing a career is hard, but persistence and continuous learning and trying will open a whole new world to you!
Good luck with your journey, Melesia! I will support you along the way.
