Getting Creative With Blazer & Belts
Today I am going to introduce you to one of my favorite pieces of the recent fashion seasons: the oversized-blazer. Let me show you why!
At first glance, it would be just a classic element of the male wardrobe. However, it shows itself as essential to be at the top of current trends and I am pretty sure that there are good reasons for it. It can be worn perfectly in layering mixing similar colors, with jogging for a more casual look, a shirt and jeans to tackle a streetwear outfit, or even alone with a belt at the waist, which refines the legs, which is what I am sporting here in today’s post.
This blazer I am wearing is from Birger Christensen and I have been enjoying it so much since I got it. I also picked a few more options here for you and I hope you will find something that catches your eye:
The keyword for today is creativity! You have to divert the serious side of the blazer to make it more fashionable and relaxed. To lengthen the silhouette you can opt for over-the-knee boots. The ones I’m wearing is by Paige and with my vintage bag, my outfit of the day is complete.
Over-the-knee boots is your best friend for winter! I picked out some other options I also like at the moment:
Also, I want to share a style hack: layering multiple belts. Do you remember the blog post about layering ? Well, in the same way that you can superimpose collars and chains, you can also superimpose belts ! In my look today, I layered my skinny GUCCI belt over my wide Versace belt. And, I add my Chanel chain belt underneath these two belts for a bold effect. Isn’t it chic and creative?
Once again, the word to keep in mind to create a very fashionable look is BEING CREATIVE !
