Portland's beauty shines with Fall colors. As you walk or drive around, you will see leaves falling, softly floating, tumbling to the ground. Yellow, orange, brown, red leaves all over the place......A recent sunny Fall day drew me outside to Director Park, downtown. When I got there, I sat in the park listening to a violinist playing classic music, pigeons scratching for their food, and kids chasing after each other. The day helped me relax ahead of my first offline fashion event: Style Right in Trench Coat Nov.5. There are only a few tickets left if you like this kind of event.For today's look, I paired a denim jacket with an A-line skirt. I wanted to demonstrate this uncommon long skirt and denim jacket combination to show a different pairing. Underneath the denim jacket, the striped turtle neck t-shirt gives a casual effect. This outfit fit well for an apple shape body, or for someone with nice curves from the waist down.For the bag, I chose a JW Anderson bag. The B&W color makes it a very versatile piece. The gold piercing metal adds a chic and edgy feel to the classic B&W. I marvel at how this easily completes outfits with a bit more polish! I adore the matching piercing bracelet and how it compliments the bag.I also want to share a bit about the scarf I purchased from DF boutique store in Shanghai. This french brand, named "INOUITOOSH", has a pleasant softness, despite the warm wool material. The white, blue and yellow color can create a different look depending on wear/wrap. The print of the water bull is just so amazing! I just LOVE IT !!! A very nice complement for Portland grey rainy fall/winter weather.
