Celebrating 10 Years!
CELEBRATING 10 YEARS
Aug 23rd, 2016
My husband is a very private person. He is not any social network. He does not like me publish any picture of him or our sons over the internet. However, in this post you will see a few picture of him. I just simply can't write a blog about our 10 years anniversary without a picture of him! To me, it is very important to make every special days special! Life with two children could be very busy and hectic. The worst thing I want to see is I don't have any special memory when I am too old to do anything ! Hence, I always make efforts to make a special day memorable. Luckily, my husband always supports me!We held this celebration at a winery named Ponzi Winery . Ponzi has such breathtaking views especially at sunset time! It has a tasting room which also is the main event space. Outdoor deck space is decent with comfortable seating and a fire-pit. Fire-pit keeps you warm during a windy Oregon summer night. From the deck, you can oversee the whole winery and the valley. When the sun is setting, the light shadows over the grape field, which makes everything so warm, loving & heart-melting......The dress code of our event was black tie optional or cocktail attire. I wore this custom made evening gown which I made for my wedding. I didn't get to wear it during wedding because I already had 6 outfits that day. (I know, hard to believe right! It is a Chinese thing.) I was pleasantly surprised to find out it still fits me!! : ) I paired it with a black collar necklace by Maxmara Weekend. It made the outfit more glamorous and eventful!I changed to a second outfit that night so I can easily move around and worry about tripping over. Second outfit is a maxi dress I purchased in my recent trip to China. I will write a separate blog about this dress soon, stay tuned! One of my best friend took most of above pictures. She also did an amazing speech as guest representative . I am going to use one of the thing she said to conclude this post:
"Brian(my husband) is the anchor keeping Remanda grounded, Remanda is the wind blowing them to new adventures!"
