Bold Velvet Suits
Today is one of those days I feel like being bold. Why? Because today is my birthday!!! I am one of those people who like to make special days extraordinary. To me, it is important to enjoy and savor every moment on a special occasion in order to create the most vivid and nostalgic memories.
I wanted to look refreshed and bold so I chose this Rag & Bone suit set to join me on my special day. I just love how unique its olive color is. It is the kind of color that catches people’s eye regardless of what it is you are wearing.
My favorite thing outside of the colors is the way the suit shapes my body. Its relaxed fit pants and tight fitted jacket give the perfect amount of contrast and movability. I also am in love with the military style neck line design and the wide horizontal button holes which add beautiful textures along the opening of the suit jacket.
Since I had a long day planned, which included a sweet brunch with my girlfriends, a romantic home-cooked dinner with my husband, and some late night family bonding time with my sons, sister, and niece, I wanted to make sure that my feet are comfortable, which is why I chose my YSL Boots. Not only do they give me all day comfort, but they match beautifully with my suit and purse.
Turning 38 means I am another year older. You would think I would be trying to hide the fact that I am soon reaching the big four-o, but I am not. Another year older means another year wiser, another year lived, another year closer to achieving my dreams and goals. I am living my best life and I am thankful I got to enjoy it this far. I have a feeling 38 is going to be a ground-breaking year for us, so you guys can expect some amazing things happening very soon 😉
