Well Suited
First post of 2018! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday. Mine was pretty good. We took 10 days to travel around California for some sunshine, as you can imagine what an Oregonian needs in winter time. The trip would be even better if the whole family wasn’t sick or getting over a sickness, but we had a great time nonetheless. We checked out Palm Springs, then took the kids to Disneyland and the San Diego Sea World & Zoo for the very first time. Our favorite activities were watching sea lion shows and checking out the zoo.
It has been a while since I worked in a corporate environment. These days I don’t wear suits often. However, every once in a while when I find suits I really like, like this NORMAKAMALI blazer I’m wearing today, I will create occasions to wear them. To me, there is no such thing as “so where and when am I going to wear it?”
There are so many variations in the way you can style this suit set. You can of course wear this as a set like how I did today. Obviously, you can also wear the jacket and skirt separately. For instance, pair the jacket with a pair of jeans for more of a casual look. You can wear the skirt with a tuck-in cute top like in the picture below, or you can pair with a boxy sweater or even a sweatshirt. You know how important it is to me to have versatile pieces that can generate numerous possibilities.
