Monochrome In White Shirt & Wool Coat

Whoever said that the white shirt was only a masculine garment was wrong! The white shirt is worn from season to season because it is timeless and it makes your outfit stands out. It is said that every woman must have at least 7 white shirts in her closet! Oversized, encircled, classic, fluid, or with ruffles, silk or cotton…it’s up to you to choose which ones you want. The important thing is that it be worn with the right styling.

To light up my mood in a typical Portland rainy weather, I decided to wear my white poplin shirt with a mini Bruno Cuccinelli skirt and paired with a long Bruno Cuccinelli cashmere and wool-blend coat.

Here are all the white poplin shirts I like at the moment, I hope there is one that catches your eye:

If you want a chic and effective look, you must focus on simplicity! Fine necklaces, one color palette, and there is your minimalistic and monochromatic look.

The combo skirt with the coat always looks good with a pair of over-the-knee boots. Moreover, for those who like me to make a statement through shoes, you could complete your outfit with snake-print over-the-knee boots. But a friendly reminder:  for a perfect look, you have to find a pair in the chosen color palette. Mine is by Paris Texas and they go very well chromatically with my outfit.

Here are all the over-the-knee boots I like at the moment. I hope there is a pair that catches your eye:

To complete this look, I picked this beautiful Gu_De bag which you have seen before. It features an exotic leather print like the boots and it fits the color palette of this whole outfit.
