When I pick clothes to buy, I tend to choose things that could help me either look tall or slim. High waisted pants definitely fit the bill! It lifts your waistline and naturally makes your legs look longer than normal. It is the real summer 2018 must-have. If you haven’t gotten one, you are late in the game.

This pair of pants in particular has been a closet staple for a while now. Love it paired with a crop top and cute heels, or paired with a fitted blouse. In today’s look, I chose this D & G queen of heart shirt to add a bit of pop color as well as fun elements into the look.

I spotted this Alexander McQueen high-waisted pants on my favorite online shop – netaporter – a few weeks ago. At first I didn’t purchase it because it is quite expensive. I closed my browser without buying it. After that, I just couldn’t stop thinking about it. That’s when I knew I had to get it……lol. But now the good news is it is on sale at 70% off!!! Completing the rest of the look was easy. I picked my dark green pom pom earrings that go with the same color handbag, and a pair of natural color pumps.
