Even though it is hard to have date nights with my hubby while sharing the duties of parenting two young boys, we do manage to go out once in a while on a date. Since this kind of occasion doesn’t happen often, I tend to dress up more than usual when it does.

For date night outfits, I like to just put on a sexy or statement dress. Dresses can easily achieve that flirty and fun effect without looking too “try-hard.” To me, the key is not to overthink it. I decided to wear this Louis Vuitton Jacquard Knit Dress that I purchased back in February when I was in NYC for New York Fashion Week. This dress has this amazing knit that consists of my favorite color palettes. The geometric pattern is strikingly unique and gives this amazing 3D feel. The leather Obi belt just perfectly flatters the figure and accentuates the waistline.

For shoes, surprisingly, my all-time-favorite designer shoes – FENDI Zucca sports band slingback pumps – go perfectly with this LV dress!! (PS: I will have a VLOG out soon that reviews all of my recent designer bags and shoes. In that video, you will learn why this Fendi pump is the winner!)

Check out the open sleeves in the picture below, which is also part of the reason why this is such a unique and distinct piece. It also makes it breezy and not too covered for a summer night out.

I know buying a LV dress isn’t something that everyone can afford. I myself don’t like to throw that much money just for one single dress. But sometimes you just encounter some pieces that are so special and it just worth every single penny you spend. I had all the attention and love from hubby and everyone we met on our date night. Thanks to my beautiful, one-of-a-kind statement LV dress!
