Neutrals With Cherry Blossoms In DC
Being a mom, I don't get to travel much. But I usually manage to get at least one trip every year to get some "JUST ME" time. This year, I decided to chase the cherry blossoms in DC and share them with you in this post!My photographer and I were there in the last weekend of March. The blossom was already at the tail end of it, but the flowers still looked very delicate and poetic!I purposely arranged a natural look so I don't detract from the beauty of the blossoms. Besides, wearing neutrals is always a good idea with all the colors that spring brings us. In this look, I wore a beige-colored dress with interesting details such as the gold metal chain highlight across the V-collar, and the button details on the sleeve. For shoes, I chose the same Chanel slingback pump shoe I used in my previous post-- "Chanel, You finally got me!"This dress fits various body types. It is rather forgiven and flattering at same time.I wish we had more cherry blossom photos but along the Tidal Basin lake was PACKED with people. Well, I am using above photo to end this post which can't be more appropriate right?!
