As I was working on a title for this post, a friend said: "This look of yours reminded me of the TV show 'Mad Men', in which the story was taking place in the 1960s. Your look is a modern take on that". Mad Men is one of the few TV shows I watched and really liked. I understood what he meant right away and happily decided on the post title.A lot happened lately with STYLE RIGHT. I am now officially on Bloglovin. You can search for "Style Right" to find me, or click here. In case you don't know what Bloglovin is, it is for you to follow all your favorite blogs in one place.I also kicked off a STYLE RIGHT WeChat official account. If you are the kind of person that likes to read blogs on your smartphone, then this is your solution. To follow, install "WeChat" on your phone/tablet and just search for "StyleRightFasionBlog" or scan the QR code below within the app.One of my shopping habits is to avoid popular brands. Not because I have anything against them but because I try to be as unique as possible in how I dress. I generally don't like myself wearing something the same as others on any occasion. So, I often shop in boutique stores or search for small international brands that make great clothing but are not yet widely known. The dress I am wearing today is by a brand named "& other stories" . They are "a one-stop styling destination filled with collections from three design ateliers in Paris, Stockholm, and Los Angeles".I found this Samoe style bag in Portland boutique store -- Dazzle on NW 23rd Ave. I was attracted to this bag mostly because of the adjustable strap design. This bag is different because it has two lock positions that allow the bag to transition from a shoulder-bag to a handbag. How cool is that! As you can see, in most pictures in this post, I was using the bag as a shoulder-bag. In the above pic, I was using it as a handbag.
