Airport Look To Paris Fashion Week
Those of you who have been following me for a while knew that I was invited to Paris Fashion Week last Sep, but I ended up going to Milan instead. Ever since then, I have been looking forward to the day of me attending Paris Fashion Week. That day has finally arrived!
Since I have attended New York Fashion Week for a couple of years now, and I also have been to London & Milan Fashion Week, it didn’t take too much of an effort for me to be invited to Paris Fashion Week. (P.S.: I have been thinking of doing a youtube video to share tips on how to get invited to Fashion Weeks, so leave me a comment if you are interested!)
After invitations are set, the next steps are just to book airplane tickets and hotel. Booking airplanes took a bit of efforts, just because I wanted to use all of miles I have saved up on my chase sapphire reserve credit card. Thank you to my amazing team that we were able to book most of our tickets with miles and paid cash for just one plane ride! Good teamwork is everything!
For a hotel, I tried a couple hotels for collaborating with, however either they were fully booked or they have already hosting other bloggers. So I ended up booking a hotel with my SPG membership.
After one and half weeks of outreach, I got 6 runway invitations, 3 showroom invitations, and one launch party invitation. Though they were not the well-known brands like Channel, LV runway shows, but not bad at all for first time around! ! We all have to start somewhere, right?!
Now the last thing left is to PACK, which is always a very time-consuming task for me. First, I need figure out my outfits for attending runway shows. Then the outfits I want to shoot in Paris, and last, the outfits I would travel with and outfits for me to wear when I am off-duty. Luckily this time, I used Biaggi travel system to pack my stuff and I love how easy and organized my stuffs are with their Packing Cubes. It really saved me a lot of time in packing! If you have never packed in this way before, you really should give it a try!
For my airport look, I ended up wearing a ALC black sweater turtleneck paired with a black high-waisted jean and layered with MaxMara Rialto Hooded Coat to complete the look. The turtle neck has a cut-out that instantly make it more chic looking than an ordinary black turtleneck. On top of that, I added a Hermes belt to add an extra life to lit up my black outfit. Maxmara coat certainly completed the outfit by adding the warmth but also the style and sporty feel this outfit needed. I was so happy with this outfit the whole way to Paris.
Here are some of my favorites of black turtlenecks:

I can’t stop telling you how important it is to wear something chic but also comfortable while you travel. You can’t be too not-put-together because you will want to take photos from time to time. I was very happy with my outfit choices and I hope you like them too!
Tell me what you usually like to wear when you travel?
** Special Thank you for Biaggi Luggage for the collaboration!
