FASHIONXT | NIGHT 3
Nov 17th, 2017
Deciding on what to wear at a fashion show could be tricky. The pressure to piece something together that will leave an impression can be overwhelming. After the classic look for opening night, the casual look for night 2, my team and I decided I should go for a change.
Meeting winner of Fashion Accessory Competition: Nuciano
As one of three judges for this year’s Fashion Accessory Competition, I was happy to meet one of the designers I voted for, Nuciano. She specializes in handcrafted bespoke clutches with authentic swarovski crystals. I had fun talking to her, learning how she finds inspiration for her designs and how she made each bag uniquely beautiful.
Michelle was a project Runway winner. She showed her Thornebird collection, inspired by love and hurt. I loved the color choices of her works, as well as some of the prints. In the video below, you will see some of my favorites of her works.
Seth Aaron is the winner of the seventh season of Project Runway, and eleventh season of Project Runway Allstars, Lifetime’s Emmy-winning fashion design shows. On FashioNXT runway, Seth was launching his Fall/Winter 2018 collection inspired by Japan, along with his 3D printed shoe line in collaboration with Feetz, which attendees were able to purchase at the show. I have always dreamed of being able to immediately buy what I see at a fashion show. Thank you to Tito for making my dream come true!
My Favorite Looks
My Favorite Moments
I was really in the mode of meeting people and getting to know their connection with fashion industry. Here is a photo with Jeremiah Stroup, host of Flux Live.
Meeting Seth Aaron – 3D Printing Shoe Designer
I also surprised to meet Marina Choy who turned out to be a friend of our joint friend – Rob Woodcox. Rob was just featured on my blog not so long ago. (Click here to view the post). Small world, right?! Marina herself is also a well-established photographer.
I also had a lot of fun finally got to meet some of my favorite models and took some fun pictures with them. I was quite brave to stand right next to these tall models, wasn’t I?!
Was happy to snap a photo of my team of photographer and videographer at the event.
